1 Service Specifics

1.1 Samples

I offer sample packs, which you can find on the website for the house collection wedding stationery. This service is provided to help you decide which collection is a best fit for you. Samples are not personalised for your wedding day but just an indicator of the print and card stock.

1.2 Wedding Stationery House Collection

To order your wedding invitations from the Folded Paper’s Wedding Stationery House Collection you must email me at

hello@foldedpaper.co.uk and let me know which collection you would like to order. I will then provide you with a quote once you’ve given me the number and which items you’re after.

Once you’re happy to proceed I will send an invoice for a 50% non – refundable deposit which must be paid before any work can begin.

Folded Paper will communicate with the customer during the design process and make text changes and/or colour changes as needed. You will be given up to four proofs in total for any amendments that need making. Any more than four proofs/amendments will incur an amendment charge of £10 per amended proof. You must give clear feedback to all proofs that have been sent to you before I begin the next phase of your order. Once you are happy with the final design, a clear approval in writing (or by email) must be given before I begin the next phase of your order.

Once approval has been given the remaining order fee, which has already been agreed plus payment for any extras (such as extra proofs) must be paid in full before any designs will be printed. House collection prices are displayed under each design of the house collection page on the website. There is a minimum order of 25 units per printed item unless stated otherwise on the price list. Unless instructed otherwise, Folded Paper will assemble your invites if you have ordered any bellybands, so they arrive presented together. You must inform me if you would rather do this yourself or have specific instructions that I might be able to follow (this may incur extra changes).

1.3 Wedding Stationery Custom Orders

If you can’t find what you are looking for in the wedding section I offer a custom design service. Please email hello@foldedpaper.co.uk for a personal quote. Before I give you a quote I will require the following specific information: the number of items; print size; double or single sided print; size of print; any other specific information regarding details that I may be able to cater for and will require to be able to make a reasonable estimate of the price of your order. I will provide you with a quote when I have received the aforementioned information and any other information I deem necessary with regard to your order.

I will then send you a quote. In order to start the design process, the quote must be agreed in writing (or by email). Upon agreement an invoice will be sent to you requiring a non – refundable custom design deposit before any work can begin.

1.4 Text

Text that you would like on your stationery must be supplied to me in Word, Excel or by Email before I can begin any work on your order.

You must give clear feedback to all proofs that have been sent to you. Once you are happy with the final design, a clear approval in writing (or by email) must be given.​

2 Checking For Errors & Proofs

2.1 Proof charges

Proofs are available to make sure accurate designs are produced for the client prior to printing. You are completely responsible for checking all your proofs, which will be sent to you by email. You must ensure that the spelling, information, wording and layout on the proofs are correct. If any changes need to be made to the designs, the adjustments will be made and a second proof will be emailed to you for an approval. You will be given up to four proofs in total for any amendments that need making. Any additional proofs/amendments requested after the initial four proofs/amendments will incur an amendment charge of £10 per amended proof.

2.2 Post-approval

I cannot be held accountable for any unnoticed errors or changes you deem necessary after you have approved a proof or after it has been sent to the printers, and mistakes noticed after you have given approval or after the designs have been sent to the printers will not be issued a refund. If you wish to amend the mistakes and re-print, we will treat it as a new order and payment will need to be made – so please double check any mistakes before making your final approval. Before I move on to the next phase of completing your order I require confirmation of approval of proofs in writing or by email acknowledging that the proofs you have received are correct and thus agreeing that I can move on to next stage of producing your order. I will not begin printing your order until you have confirmed that you have approved the proofs. If you do not respond to a request for approval within 7 days I can not be held responsible if your order does not get processed and delivered in sufficient time. The turnaround for receiving printed goods is roughly one to three weeks depending on the size of your order and whether you need the items delivered to a postal address or to be collected from Oswestry, Shropshire. Please allow a maximum of 3 weeks to allow sufficient time for printing, assembly and delivery.

3 Pricing and product

3.1 Individual pricing

Prices for the custom design service will be calculated on an individual basis depending on your requirements.

3.2 Website pricing accuracy

I will attempt to ensure that the information available on the website of pricing is accurate. However, I cannot be held liable for any errors in the pricing list, or prices on my website that are not fully up-to-date.

3.3 Product changes and termination

I reserve the right to change, or discontinue any product on the website, including prices, terms and conditions, samples, and information, at any time without notice. Prices on the website may change at any time without notice. Any price changes will not affect any confirmed orders.

4 Timing

4.1 Approval timing

To help us avoid the inconvenience that sometimes arises due to unforeseen printing issues, approval must be given a minimum of 30 days before the wedding day. Designs printed after the 30 days are not Folded Papers responsibility if delays occur, so I must emphasise approval deadlines.

4.2 Custom designs

Designing custom wedding stationery will take longer than the house collection amendments. Folded Paper requires a minimum time period of 4 weeks from the date that the deposit is received to complete the design process. Folded Paper does not take responsibility for any delays or losses incurred by printing companies, other companies or delivery services including the Royal Mail.

5 Postage & Packaging

5.1 Wedding Stationery Custom Orders

Nationwide orders will be sent via Royal Mail or by courier.  A signature may be required to confirm receipt of delivery. Delivery charges to UK Islands, Ireland and Scottish offshore Islands, and worldwide may vary in cost. Clients may also collect their orders from Folded Paper’s studio free of charge.

5.2 Damaged goods

I will not be held responsible for any damages to products incurred during the delivery process, i.e. by the Royal mail or any courier service. Once goods have been delivered, any risk of damage to or loss of product become your responsibility. Folded Paper will not be held responsible for any damages once the product(s) leave(s) the studio or during subsequent posting of items (i.e. when you post your invitations to your guests).

5.3 Delivery times

Folded Paper strives to meet all delivery deadlines. However, delivery dates can not be guaranteed and are only an approximate delivery estimate. I cannot be held responsible if items are not delivered on set dates.

6.0 Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order the initial 50% deposit or custom design fee (depending on whether you have ordered from the house collection or the custom designed stationery) is non-refundable. If the order has been approved and printed I can not issue a refund .

7.0 Design Property/ Copyright

7.1 Intellectual property and Copyright

Folded Paper holds all copyright for all the designs and must not be copied or reproduced in any way. Any unauthorised reproduction of Folded Papers designs is strictly prohibited. Folded Paper will not recreate or copy other designs made by other designers or artists.

7.2 Use of your design on the Folded Paper website or other promotional material

If you have opted for a custom design, the design may be available under my future house collections on the website if chosen to by Folded Paper, or in other marketing and promotional material. Folded Paper will respect your design by not considering designs for use in the house collection until after your wedding day.

8.0 Colour reproduction

8.1 Digital colour differences

Colour representation may vary on individual computer screens as computer screens can’t represent ink colours accurately or consistently therefore colours shown on the website and email proofs may vary slightly from the colours of the final printed product. All designs are professionally digitally printed and although colours are accurate they can not be matched to Pantones or any other colour matching system and therefore I can’t guarantee an exact colour match.

8.2 Printing differences and other errors

Please note, within digital printing there may be, to some degree, a slight colour difference from one print to the next and I can not therefore guarantee exact matching of inks through all products ordered especially when printing at different times and when the printers use different machines. Any variations in colour that may occur will not be eligible for a refund, reprint or return. I will do my best to check for errors in colours, misprints and order quantity beforehand but cannot guarantee accuracy with regard to these areas and I will not be held liable for any perceived errors or inaccuracies on your part.

9.0 General

9.1 Usage of designs in promotional material and website

I reserve the right to use photographic images of your wedding stationery for the website, social media, blogs, magazines, marketing, advertisements and wedding fairs (but will not do so until after your wedding day). This may include names and wedding details which will be seen on the designs.

9.2 Fair use of intellectual property and copyright material

You are responsible for obtaining permission to use in your stationery any text, prose, hymns, poetry, song lyrics, imagery, photographs or any other potentially copyright material from the relevant copyright owners. By approving proofs and/or by signing the terms and conditions agreement you accept full liability for any copyright infringement, illegal use of intellectual property or any other law suit or litigation that may be incurred by the unlicensed use of any copyright material or intellectual property.

9.3 Misconduct

Folded Paper expects the client to be polite and courteous when communicating. Behaviour I perceive to be aggressive or rude, whether by email, telephone, writing, in person or by any other means may result in my immediate termination of your work. If necessary, Folded Paper reserves the right to cancel any order placed, subsequently the client will lose any deposits and/or second half of payments.

10.0 Safety

Embellishments on stationery are not suitable for young children and animals. Therefore it is advised to keep out of reach of young children and animals. Folded Paper does not take any responsibility for any injury, damage to property, or death due in any way or part to the usage, possession or carriage of any product or service that Folded Pixel or Folded Paper has produced on your behalf.
